Over-temperature protection -- Output shutdown with automatic restart. Temperature sensors are installed on critical components inside the unit and turn the unit OFF in safety critical situations which can happen e.g. when ambient temperature is too high ventilation is obstructed or the derating requirements are not followed. There is no correlation between the operating temperature and turn-OFF temperature since this is dependent on input voltage load and installation methods.
Series / parallel operation -- devices of the same type can be connected in series for higher output voltages / Devices can be paralleled to increase the output power. The output voltage shall be adjusted to the same value (+/-100mV) with the same load conditions on all devices (or the devices can be left with the factory settings). Devices can be paralleled for 1+1 redundancy to gain higher system availability using a redundancy module
Back-feeding loads max. 35V -- The unit is resistant and does not show malfunctioning when a load feeds back voltage to the power supply. It does not matter whether the power supply is ON or OFF. The absorbing energy can be calculated according to the built-in large sized output capacitor.
