  • No relays
  • 4-20 mA, 0-10V, -10 to +10V analog output
  • No communication option
Model L70010FR by Laurel Electronics is a universal counter which can be set up by the user for multiple operating modes: frequency (2 channels simultaneousl), rate (2 channels simultaneousl), total (up or down, 2 channels simultaneously), period (2 channels continuously), stopwatch, time interval, arithmetic functions A+B, A-B, AxB, A/B, A/B-1 applied to rate or total, batch control, AC phase angle, AC power factor, and duty cycle.   The hardware configuration of model L70010FR is Universal 85-264 Vac power, No relays, 4-20 mA, 0-10V, -10 to +10V analog output, and No communication option.   The Laureate dual-channel frequency, rate and period meter can display frequency from 0.005 Hz to 1 MHz, rate in engineering units, or period (inverse of frequency). Values can range to 999,999 counts. Applications include the accurate display of AC line frequency, RPM, speed from proximity switch inputs, and flow from turbine flow meter inputs. The Laureate counter determines frequency by timing an integral number of periods over a specified gate time, and then taking the inverse of period.   The Laureate dual-channel up or down totalizer may be independently set up and scaled to count up from zero (or other value) to a preset limit, or to count down from a preset value to zero (or other limit). Countdown operation is set up by entering a negative scale factor. The totalizer can display values from -999,999 to 999,999 with a programmable decimal point. Scaling allows direct readout in engineering units. Totals are stored in non-volatile memory so as to be retained in the absence of power.   The Laureate stopwatch meter times single events which produce start and stop pulses. It can also time the width of a single pulse. Highest resolution is 0.2 us. The event time may be displayed H, M or S format with six-digit resolutionor or in HH.MM.SS clock format with 1 s resolution. The stopwatch display is updated during timing. Accumulated time from multiple events is also tracked and may be displayed to 999,999 hours.   The Laureate A-to-B Time Interval Meter can display pulse width or time delay between individual pulses to a resolution of 0.2 µs. It can also display average pulse width or average time delay between multiple pulses. Time interval is measured between inputs on channels A and B. Time interval can be displayed in seconds, milliseconds, or microseconds with 6-digit resolution.   The Laureate Rate Meter & Totalizer with Functions A+B, A-B, AxB, A/B, A/B-1 can add two flows (A+B) for total flow or total volume, subtract two flows (A-B) for net flow or net volume, take the ratio of two flow rates (A/B) for chemical mixing, take the ratio of RPMs or belt speeds (A/B) to synchronize moving machinery, subtract 1 from ratio (A/B-1) to control elongation of material compressed by rollers (draw), and multiply belt speed by weight of material on the belt to for rate or weight of material delivered by the belt.   The Laureate Pulse Input Batch Controller controls repetive fill operations by means of relays.   The Laureate"! AC Power Factor Meter & AC Phase Angle Meter can indicate the phase lead or lag between two periodic signals of the same period or the ratio of real power in watts (W) divided by apparent power in volt-amperes (VA).   The Laureate Duty Cycle Meter Duty measures of ON or OFF period as a percentage of total period.   \The FR dual-channel signal conditioner accepts inputs from proximity switches w ith PNP or NPN output, TTL or CMOS logic, magnetic pickups, contact closures, low-level outputs from turbine flow meters down to 12 mV, and high-level AC line inputs up to 250 Vac. A built-in isolated 5, 10, or 24 Vdc excitation supply can power proximity switches and other sensors, thus eliminating the need for an external power supply.   Optional plug-in boards for communications and control include Ethernet and other serial communication boards, dual or quad relay boards, and single or dual isolated analog output boards. Laureates may be powered from 85-264 Vac or optionally from 12-32 Vac or 10-48 Vdc. The display is available with red or green LEDs. The 1/8 DIN case meets NEMA 4X (IP65) specifications from the front when panel mounted. Any setup functions and front panel keys can be locked out for simplified usage and security. All power and signal connections are via UL / VDE / CSA rated screw clamp plugs.
